Steps to Reproduce:

1) copy line 117 of attached source
2) paste it next line below
3) select the line using Shift + UpArrow
4) press Ctrl + R
5) type 'Complete' in the search term and 'Started' in the Replace edit and press Alt + A to replace all
6) editor is unresponsive and IDE process must be terminated

I can't repeat the issue. Maybe it requires the full project and additional steps.

Do you have the XE Hotfix for QC 90864 installed?

If you don't know - What's the version number of $(BDSBIN)\dcc150.dll?
XE Update #1 is 15.0.3953.35171 and the hotfix is 15.0.4066.37021.

I've seen a lot of hangs in a big project related to Replace before installing this Hotfix. For testing your steps I've tried with and without the fix.

I do not have the hotfix installed, and have not experienced this problem in a while. I will install the hotfix and hope I never encounter this again.
