Description
Deployment manager fails to connect to running PAServer if Windows username contains diacritical character(s) (i.e. "áéë"). I can see that some basic connection was established, as a new scratch directory with correct username (!) was created on the target machine, but it fails to authenticate the user. When a simple Windows username with no special chars is used, the problem goes away (I found this workaround in a forum post by Oliver Stoxen). OS versions tested :
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit (w.SP1)
Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.2 (32 bit kernel)
Steps to Reproduce:
Premise : be logged on to Windows using username containing diacritical characters like "Jan Zdenék" or "Erwin Schrödinger"
1. setup any project with OS X in target platforms
2. start remote PAServer
2. assign/edit remote profile and setup connection to the remote server
3. Test the connection - a message saying "Remote error: Unauthorized user, all server requests are ignored" appears.
Workarounds
Log on to Windows using any simple username such as "Dannyboy" or "Erwin"
