Description

  I tried to install 3rdRail v1.1 Trial on Ubuntu7.10, and launch 'install_linux.sh'.
  But, main window of installer does not draw anything, it is a blank window.
  I found the issue is due to [System | Preferences | Appearance | Visual Effects].
  Default setting is [Normal].
(I use NVIDIA drivers )

Steps to Reproduce:

None

Workarounds

When I switch [Normal] to [None], the main window of installer does work.

This problem occurs on real machine, not virtual machine(VM).
