Description
I wanted to add a bullet to the caption of a label. In the form and in the properties editor, it displayed nicely when one was pasted but it did not in the string editor.
See attached screen capture: the bullet is show as a nice round dot excep in the string editor where it's replaced by an ugly square typical of unavailable characters.
Steps to Reproduce:
In Word:
1- Go into MS Word, open the Insert symbol dialog, inserted in the word document a nice round bullet point (way down the list)
2- Selected the inserted character and copy it.
In Delphi:
3- Go into Delphi (must have a VCL app with a TLabel on it).
What works:
4- Select the Caption property in the property editor so that the caret is in it.
5- Paste the bullet point with Ctrl + V. The bullet point is nicely shown.
What does not work:
4- Instead of pasting the bullet point in the caption, open the String Editor for the caption property.
5- Paste the bullet point (Ctrl + V): an ugly square is drawn.
Note: the end-result is as expected in the displayed form and in the compiled app but in terms of WYSIWYG design, it's not quite right.

Could you please attach sample project(which include the round bullet point symbol) to confirm your issue?

As request, you have a project, plus a Word doc from where the bullet point character has been copied and the screen capture showing the nice bullet point character in the form, in the prperty editor but not in the string editor (that opens when you click the TLabel's caption "..." buton to edit the text).

I confirmed your issue. It is due to font setting problem of Property Editor(e.g., string editor).
Thanks.
