Description
Clicking on Cancel button when a Compilation has Started does not cancel compilation.  The entire process is completed (including Linking).
Steps to Reproduce:
On a large project start a Compile and click cancel.  The dialog gives no indication the operation has been cancelled, and the entire compilation process runs to completion.

Do you use 'Background Compile'?

No.  A few times that I tried background compilation I got an error in the IDE.  Foreground compilation is more than fast enough for me.
