Steps to Reproduce:
Create project, add a form.
Save project as "project1"
Save the form with a dot in the name: "main.form.php".

In project manager, select the form file and either right-click and "rename", or press F2, then rename the file to "user.main.php"

Notice how the icon in the list turns into a white page, and the "+" marker disappears.
Double click the entry in the list, the source file opens but cannot switch to design mode anymore.

Check the project folder in windows explorer, notice the related xml.php file still has the old name.
