Description
[IBConsole] Data for Numeric fieds with precision e.g. 8 is wrongly written to database

this is annoying becouse you see value what you type but it is not stored into db only some different value
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run IBConsole
2. run ISQL
and create table

CREATE TABLE TEST
(
  AAA
NUMERIC(18, 8),
  BBB
INTEGER
);

commit;

3. go to Tables and double click on table TEST
4. go to Data page and enter value 2 for field AAA
5. click post - value is 2
6. click commit - value is 13,1074!

Now: value 2 is saved as 13,1074!
Exp: value 2 is saved as 2

Is this a issue about IBConsole or server engine?

Karol Bieniaszewski at 4/3/2013 11:00:56 PM -
Yes about IBConsole

if i use insert statement or update all is ok (server work ok)
but if i write data by IBConsole it store wrong value in such fields
