Do you have any news? Have an estimated date for the fix?

Sorry. This was because the attachment can't be loaded.

What version of InterBase server do you use?
What ODBC(vendor, version etc...) driver do you use?

The attached zip file is a little app I wrote in VB6. The file also contains an image for you to see how I configured the DSN (perharps there is something wrong and you can guide me). And there is also a database file for IB2009 and a database file for IB XE3.

What I did is the following:
1) Create a directory C:\Test_IB_XE3
2) Place here a database files: TEST_IB_2009.IB for IB2009 server and TEST_IB_XE3.IB for XE3 server
3) Place here the executable file and the VB6 project
4) Create the DSN connection named Test_IB_2009 for an IB2009 server (as you can see in the image ODBC.jpg)
5) Create the DSN connection named Test_IB_XE3 for an XE3 server
6) Execute the app (from the VB6 IDE or double clicking the Test_IB_XE3.exe). At this moment, the executable file is connecting using IB2009 server.
7) Fill the fields in the screen and save (clicking the button with the disk icon).

You'll get the error "not yet implemented".

Please, let me know if you need something else.

Changing CommandType property to adCmdStoredProc produce a different error: "No value specified for some required parameters"

quinn wildman at 5/12/2014 10:00:56 AM - looks to have a workaround to this problem.

I do not have Visual Basic, have had it reported by a third party source that this solution works.
