Description
I continually get this error when attempt to edit profile, prohibiting any other changes:
"Email is already in use"

You will be seeing this error because the email address you are attempting to set for your account would already be in the database.

I would recommend logging into Member Services using the email address you are attempting to change your account to. If you can no longer remember the password for that account, you can request a password reset by clicking the 'Reset my password' button on https://members.embarcadero.com/login.aspx.

Hi, this error still exists. It is the same error that is described in issues 99930, 102481 and 107630, and has existed for at least two years :(

To repeat:
1. Login using your email address
2. Select Edit My Account Information to navigate to https://members.embarcadero.com/editaccount.aspx
3. Changing just the timezone and clicking update produces the error "Email is already in use"
4. If you reload the Edit My Account Information screen and try to change the phone number or address then it gives an error "Time zone is required". If you set the timezone and click update then you get the error from step #3 above.

In summary: even though I have logged in with the email account in question, I am unable to change the timezone, phone number or address without getting an error.

I've tested this in Chrome v29.0.1547.66 m and IE 10.0.09, and have the same results in both browsers.

The fact that I don't have a timezone may be a clue - perhaps there are some older accounts that are missing some information that prevents them from validating properly?

Anyway please fix this and stop closing the issue until you have tested it properly! Having 4 reports up to 2 years old of the same easy-to-describe and 100% reproducible bug is just sloppy.
