Description
The UI Desinger doesn't allow the constraints property to be set for panels contained in a jtabbedpane. Code generated is of the form tabbedpane.add(panelTrace); without the constraint.  If source is manually amended then the constraint (name name) is shown in the designer but can't be changed.

This works just fine on the windows XP platform, but is a SOLID error on Apple Mac OS X panther
Steps to Reproduce:
Open designer add a tabbedPane, then and panels within the pane and try to set their constraints
