Description

Today my D7 crashed while I resized the editor window. My exception tracker gave me a detailed report about that, maybe it is of any use for you. I've pasted the most important part it into the "steps" tab. The full bug report text file is also attached. According to this report it looks like the compiler crashed when trying to get a hint text.

Stefan, you're asking for more infos and at the same time you close the report? Does that make sense? At least I don't understand that.

Anyway, it was a random crash in the IDE (not reproducable), I don't think that it directly related to the source code which was at that time loaded in the editor. But I think the callstack that I posted looks like it could give the programmers who are responsible for the dll "dcc70.dll" a good hint where a weak point could be.

Yes. As soon as you modify your report - to address the "Need More Info" resolution - it will be reopened. Automatically.

dcc70.dll is the compiler - and depends heavily on state information: The source file.
