Mashups: Combining Web Service APIs with Delphi by Jim McKeeth

PREREQUISITES: HTML, Javascript, Delphi and ASP.net experience
ABSTRACT: Thanks to web api's it is easy to add features to applications that would have previously been near impossible to implement.  This session provides the attendee everything they need to leverage web api's and web services with Delphi to create mashups of their own.  Specific attention will be placed on the more powerful and popular web api's like Google Maps, Search engines and image services.  Also focus on creative uses of web api's in everyday application development.

Practical examples will be provided with lots of code to take and use.
SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY: Jim McKeeth is a software developer with over 15 years of experience in developing software and building online communities. He runs the Boise Software Developers Group, Idaho s longest running group of its kind. Jim works at Washington Group International as a Senior Software Engineer. He is a certified trainer and has shared the stage with some of the top trainers on the continent. Jim maintains a number of successful blogs and enjoys spending time with his wonderful family.
