Description
Using Delphi Developer Studio 2006

I am having a problem with the Data Explorer/Connections Editor.
I am attempting to create a new DB2 connection to our AS400 to
use for a ASP .NET Web Application -  C# Builder. The problem
is the same for both BDP and dbExpress.

After entering the connection details (as seen below) I attempt to test
the connection and I get the following message

For the BDP the message is - DB2 Provider Initialization Failed

For dbExpress the message is dbExpress vendor initialization failed

I had an equal problem using driver UIB FireBird15 in the Data Explorer/Connections, More driver functions perfectly in the SQLConnection.

After entering the connection details. I attempt to test
the connection and I get the following message
[dbExpress vendor initialization failed]
