The problem is that there is no project selected by default when creating a new project. Select the project with a mouse click and the menu will work.

When I create a new project - File | New Application, I definitely get a selected project (ProjectXX.phprj) by default.

Follow these steps (exactly) <g>

File|New|Application
File|SaveProjectAs

No dialog opens.
If you select the project in the project manager the File|SaveProjectAs works.

I;m using D4PHP 1.0.1.414

Maybe you are using an early beta of v2 ?
