Today while editing QC 43952 I've noticed a bug in the webclient which is still in QC as 10467.
QC 10467 is closed with the resolution comment "Cannot Reproduce". The resolution comment by Nick Hodges is "Seems to be working fine. See".
As far as I can see QC 11367 was only added and never edited ("Last Updated" is empty). Of course adding an issue with double quotes in the text works fine, but these double quotes will turned into """ the first time and """ the second time if you edit the issue.

I've added an attachment which contains screenshots of this issue as example.
Steps to Reproduce:
- add double quotes to your report
- edit your report (now you should have """ instead of the double quotes)
- save it
- edit your report again (now you should have """ instead of """)

Which client did you use to edit the report?

He means the web client, going to:

And editing the report with the 'edit' link. Double quotes turn to " [sic] in the edit text box, then when you submit the edit, they stay " in the edited report.

Marked as "needs attention", the step before "open"

This really makes bugreports badly readable, such as .

Please at least warn (or just disable) this editing feature, as it degrades the bugreport.

Editing is also bad for tracking purposes, so is a questionable feature in the first place, I was surprised it was possible.
