This is not an IDE issue at all. The welcome page is simply accessing a newsfeed that is inactive. I checked the same feed with FireFox and the entries shown in the IDE browser are the same as show by FireFox. I suspect that whoever started this newsfeed decided that it was not worth the effort. If you want to find information on QC reports, I suggest that you go to QC.

If you do want to find out more about this newsfeed, try posting a question in the borland.public.bdn.website newsgroup - you may find that there are plans to update it in the future, or it may have been dropped entirely.

Also, QC reports do need to have clear steps.

I was about to fix this up with proper steps and open it, but when I checked today all of the QC newsfeeds appear to be functioning properly. Based on that, I closed the report as "Fixed".

Sometimes server problems cause automatic updates from occurring, and it might get a quicker response if you post to the QC newsgroup if you see this happen again.
