Installed JBuilder 2007.  Worked fine with java projects for a week.  Installed JBuilder 2006 to convert legacy projects.  Imported a J2EE project using the legacy wizard.  Was able to run both apps with no issues.  Shut them down.  When I brought it up again, it starting having issues.

When starting JBuilder 2007, the splash screen appears and asks for which workspace.  Selecting a workspace with an J2EE project (converted from a legacy project, 2006) the splash screen will hand then disappear.  The progress bar displays fine until the very end then it hangs for a long time...5 minutes or so.  The splash screen then disappears.  Checking the Windows Task Manager show the process JBuilder.exe still running.

If I restart JBuilder 2007 and pick the same workspace an error message states "Workspace is use or cannot be created, choose a different one."  Selecting another workspace with just java projects works, the IDE comes up.

Deleting the windows process doesn't change the error message stating "Workspace in use ....".
Steps to Reproduce:
unknown, happens frequently but not always.  Can sometimes bring up and down 2007 J2EE workspace more than once without workaround described below.
Cold starting the labtop doesn't work.  Deleting the .lock file in the workspace's metadata directory did work, twice.
