When I paste some code right after this code.. everything works fine.. when I try
to paste in another place in the code I get the following error:

"Paste" did not complete normally. Please see the log for more
information. - String index out of range: 0

Lori M Olsen added the following comment in the Newsgroups:

Make the "white space" characters visible (toolbar icon).  I have discovered a strange character appears in conjunction with these errors (not the straight-forward "return" character, but one I'll call "splat")

When the "splat" appears in the code being pasted, and/or in the area that you might be "pasting over" you will see errors like the above.
