Description
To reproduce this bug you will need 2 monitors. Please follow the steps.
Steps to Reproduce:
Practically we will modify the Default Layout, save it and want to have it restored when IDE starts.
1. Open the IDE. I assume it opens with the Welcome Page, PM on the right side, etc. I also assume it opens on your left monitor and that also, the IDE covers full screan available, but without being maximized. (If this stuff is not true than first make it happen, close the IDE and reopen the IDE so you have this step as described.)
2. Increase the IDE width so that you practically end up with the PM on the right monitor. I do this in order to maximize my edit window, have a good PM width so that I can see it properly and also that I can still have some room left on the desktop on the second monitor so that I can easy access some shortcuts.
3. Click Save Layout button from the layout toolbar. Use the same name for this layout (i.e. no need for a new name) Answer yes when asked to overwrite.
4. Close the IDE.
5. Open the IDE.
Exp.: the IDE restores the Default Layout as it was when saved at step 3.
Act.: the IDE is NOT restored as we wanted, even though the Layout combobox indicates that this *is* the Default Layout. It is not. However, if you re-select it from the list, it will restore correctly.
Workarounds
reload the Default Layout, after starting the IDE
