Description

When file tabs are shown in a vertical list, the window width can't be adjusted  - it should be adjustable.

It should be possible to not show file tabs at all.

Definitely should be able to adjust the window size when vertical tabs are enabled.  I have some long filenames and it can dramatically reduce the width of the editor window, but I much prefer the virtical layout compared to the horizontal one.
