In the data explorer tab, creating a connection under dbExpress/INFORMIX item, testing the connection returns :
«Borland.Data.TDBXError: Unable to load dbxinf30.dll (ErrorCode 182).  It may be missing in the system path» (in french).
After checking the directory
C:\Program Files\CodeGear\RAD Studio\5.0\bin
dbxinf30.dll exists alongside others drivers libraries.
Notice that another connection to MSSQL server works fine.
As a workaround I 'm used to use my old dbexplor.exe (Delphi 6).
The applications that I work on are still able to connect to Informix server.
I suppose the dbxinf30.dll is bad and fails to load.
Steps to Reproduce:
In the IDE, in the data explorer tab. Create a new connection under INFORMIX, do the set up, then modify the connection and clik on «test the connection». The error message appears.

Please inout exact Build No field. Maybe, your Build No is too old. Have you already applied the latest Updates and Hotfixes?

And, is this your first time to connect Informix with DataExplorer of Delphi 2007?
Have you ever succeed to get connection to Informix  with DataExplorer of Delphi 2007?
