Description

Using NNTP via Outlook and other interfaces to attempt to cross-post (i.e. having the same message posted in more than one forum) results in a multipost (i.e. having the same message duplicated in more than one forum).

Even though neither cross-posting or multi-posting is recormmended for ordinarry users, it does not seem right to have the conversion done w/o the poster's direction.

The old newsgroup of several years back, would allow crossposting.

Steps to Reproduce:
Via Outlook Express or other newsgroup reader, post a message with more than one newsgroup specified in the Newsgroups box.

In the resultant postings, notice that the message ID is different in each newsgroups.

For example
  Message-ID: <181603@forums.codegear.com>
and
  Message-ID: <181604@forums.codegear.com>
