Description

When using Refactoring: Rename Variable "MyOldVariable"... Shift+Ctrl+E for a local variable, this procedure is looking in all project units.

That all units are scanned, is seen in the refactoring panel.

If the variable is local, only the local proc/function or unit can be scanned. This saves a lot of time.

Steps to Reproduce:

Select local variable
Right click in Edit Window
Select Refactoring
Select Rename variable "MyOldVariable"
