I cannot connect to my DB2 databases using DBArtisan XE. It gives me the following error: "Datasource connection failed"
I know that I can connect to that DB because an ODBC connection works, and even using DB2 control center works fine. But DBArtisan does not. Not even using a different driver.
My computer is a Windows 7 - 64 bits.
I had a similar issue connecting to an oracle instance, and the only workaround was to run the DBArtisan in compatibility mode Windows XP SP3 and as Administrator.
Steps to Reproduce:
Run DBArtisan as Administrator
Register a Datasource
In Database type choose IBM DB2
In Server choose the server you want to connect to
Choose any of the JDBC drivers
Provide username/password
click the test connection button
