Description
While stepping through Object Pascal code in the debugger of a C++ application, it is not possible to evaluate and variable information.

I was suprised that I could even debug Pascal code with BCB.

This made me wonder if Borland might have more time for productive work if they made only one compilier that did both C and Pascal. They would develop only one IDE, only one linker, etc, rather than make two, separate packages. If we buy the C compilier, we would have to pay extra to have the Pascal option activated, and vice versa. But since only one compiler would do everything, it might create less maintenance problems for Borland.

Or course, since I have no idea what is involved in making a BCB or Delphi, this is just a thought, not a serious suggestion. This is simply how I develop software..
