Hello Embarcadero Team,

I need new feature to make me more comfortable in compiling or building some of projects in the same time. This feature is talking about favourite. FYI, my each project group is consist more than 50 packages and the kind of those packages is not similar. We know that the package can be created as run time package, design time package or both of them. In my project group, I only use two type, that are Run Time package and Design Time Package.

When I tried to update the source code, I have to uninstall several design time packages then update several run time packages. To do those processes, I have to select some packages for three times and I have to do this processes each update my source code. You know that I'm a programmer, so of course that I always update the source code.

IMO, if my project group only consists of 3 or 5 package projects, this issue is not as the problem, but this issue is as the problem if the condition is like above.

Starting from this issue, I hope embarcadero team will add new feature for favourite in project manager, so we as the developer will be helped and of course we will more comfortable in updating the project to make it more powerful.

Now, what is the advantages of my request? We as the programmer don't need to select some projects that fixed to be process and we just select the favourite that already stored in project group.
In another hand, this feature also save our time and make us not boring when updating the project and much more.

I hope this request will voted by many embarcadero customers :)

Hello Teodor Nacu,

Let me try to explain about this request. I hope you can catch my idea later.

- Let we guess that I have a project group "PG01"
- PG01 has more than 50 package projects
- Some times, I have need to select projects like shown below:
  Need 1: Select project number: 1,5,6,7,18
  Need 2: Select project number: 2,3,8,9,10
  Need 3: Select project number: 4,11,12,13,19
- From the example above, you can see that I have to select those project manually for each need and you can see that I have 50 package projects, so this condition will need more time when select it with scrolling the project tree.
- I hope you can add new feature to manage this need with favourite.
- By using this favourite, when I want to select project 1,5,6,7 and18, I just select the faourite and it select those project directly without select those manually.
- I think this feature will help a programmer who work with many projects in project group like me.
- FYI, I have been developing ERP application, so I have many project groups and a thousands more package projects.

From my explanation above, I hope you can catch the point is.
