Description
I'm using Delphi XE Starter on a system with Windows 7 64 bit with 6 GB of RAM. Windows service pack #1 is installed as well as the Delphi update #1.

Recently the IDE started freezing on one of my bigger Projekts (about 40.000 loc)and can only be terminated using the task-manager. No freezes happen on my smaller projects.

Scrolling works fine, the freezes happen when I click on a piece of program-code.

>>edit: in some cases a hint 'analyzing..' appears just before the freeze.

When looking at the cpu-usage of the IDE, I noticed that it was using cpu-core #12 or #13 - afaik this ought to be imossible on an Intel i7 cpu.

Deselecting the Code Insight option 'symbol description' (? translated from German), the frezes don't occur.

This may prevent the freezes, but I loose the respective programming aid.

the freezes seem to be a variation of the ErrorInsight bug!

We also struggle with IDE freezes on a big project (LOC>600000). No problem on smaller projects. 4 developers have the same problem on the same project. It seems to be related to showing forms. If I uninstall components used on the forms so that the forms will not show in the IDE, then the problem disappears. (Delphi XE Professional upd1)
