I run into problems whilst debugging my software from within the IDE, but NOT when I debug using gdb externally (with or without other front ends to it).

When debugging my software will start and run fine, but once I stop execution (via a breakpoint or the pause button) the debugger cannot restart properly - it keeps stopping trapped on some signal after executing very little code (its not very specific about which one).

I changed the OS exceptions to allow SIG32 and upwards to pass through the debugger with no effect.  I upgraded gdb to the latest version (6.2) with no effect either (although since I can debug my software using gdb externally anyway this was pointless).

Since running gdb externally to C++BuilderX can debug my software, it is not related to some of the more common gdb problems using pthreads (stripped pthread library file[mine isn't], or not supporting pthreads[it does]).
