The original implementation of the notify directive triggered notification every time the associated property was assigned a value.

NOW it only notifies when the property value is actually changed.

Although this change broke some of my code AND I think the new way is the better way since it reflects what the name says which is that the property changed, it would be nice to also be able to signal the event notification any time the setter is called.

Perhaps "notifyalways" directive.  Or "notify always".  Or "notify when set".

This is something that can be easily solved by using cirrus.
